You do know the Devil is more trickier now as before. The interesting thing is that he brings the same temptation in different wrappers, and Man still finds themselves falling for it.

In our text today, we see Jesus using the word to reply the devil. After replying, he didn't ponder on that temptation, he made his mind flee from it. Many of us find ourselves resisting the devil when he tempts, but because they ponder on his words instead of the word of God, they find themselves falling inventually.

In conclusion,
Our text is reminding us today that for us not to fall into the temptation of the devil, wisdom is essential. What is that wisdom? Ponder on the word of God instead of the temptation the devil brings. That was what kept Job going despite all he passed through during his tests.
