The Benefit of Believing

Bible Insight

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

This is a popular verse that even the unbelievers know of. The reason why I still want to expansiate on it? It's because there's something I just got to know that I would like to share with you.
Thomas Eddison,a well-known scientist, came up on media one day to let everyone know that his next invention would be a light bulb. It was a device noone thought was possible to invent at that time, but Eddison believed in his heart that it could be done. After the first try with no result, Eddisoon didn't stop there. He tried again until the 1001 try. He didn't stop because he believed and he got the result which was the creation of a light bulb. If we can believe in Jesus the way Eddison believe in his light bulb, the bible said we would not perish.
God loved us and gave us another sign that he exists by sending his only son to come die for our sins, the sins of this world. What he asks is for us to believe in him. When Joseph (the son of Jacob) believed in him, he was considered righteous. Abraham(Son of Temar) believed in him,and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Let Jesus In!!!

Whenever I put on the TV, I see the controversy that goes on around the World, the war, the deception and all. The simple truth is the world haven't allowed Jesus to come in fully. I was told a story in one of my Sunday School Sessions. Some burglars always disturb a young man in his house. They come each night to steal things from his house. Jesus Christ visited this young man and offered him protection if he let's him in. The young man accepted and gave Jesus Christ his Sitting room. When the burglars came in they raided the whole house except the sitting room. The man asked Jesus 'why?', Jesus replied you only gave me the sitting room. The young man then said you can have the whole house then. When the burglars wanted coming in that night, they couldn't. This is how Jesus Christ is telling us to let him into the world. He charged us to spread the good news to the whole world. In conclusion, If only the world can let Jesus Christ in, this World would be a ...

Don't Fall For That Temptation!!!

Jesus Christ Defeating the Devil Matthew 4:5-7 Then the devil taketh him up to the holy temple, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, and saith unto him,if thou be the Son of God,cast thyself down:for it is written,he shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up,lest at any time thou shall dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, it is written again, Thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God. Many at times we fall for temptation without us even knowing we do. The tricks of the devil is being upgraded daily and yearly. No wonder Jesus Christ had said we should be as wise as a serpent. A woman prepared a fried chicken in the kitchen and covered it up when she was done. While she went out,her son perceived the sweet aroma and couldn't deny himself of a bite. 'It's just a bite',he said,'I didn't eat the whole chicken'. This is how many of us fall into temptation without knowing. Picking ...
