The Light In You


Good evening ladies and gentlemen, beautiful readers and sharers. The lighting condition in nigeria is really aphauling. This is the 8th day there haven't been restoration of power. Imagine conserving my battery's life while struggling with bad network. That's a great punishment right?!

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Isn't the text today a really wonderful text? Jesus is the light of this world and if you decide to follow Jesus,you will have this light in you. You might want to ask, why bother yourself about having this light in you?

1. The bible recorded that after the Holy Spirit came upon the followers of Jesus on the day of pentecost,they spake in different tongues. You cannot speak in different tongues if you don't have this light in you. This light guides you to receiving the power of the Holy Ghost.

2. It was recorded in the Bible also that Peter received boldness. This was the same Peter who denied Jesus and was afraid. He won 3000 souls that day after speaking just a very short sermon. This light brings the boldness that have been lying dormant in you.

3. It was recorded that Paul and Silas were released from prison. When Paul and Silas were thrown into prison for following Jesus, they prayed, they sang and the power of God came down. This light is capable of liberating you from all captivity.

Let Jesus In!!!

Whenever I put on the TV, I see the controversy that goes on around the World, the war, the deception and all. The simple truth is the world haven't allowed Jesus to come in fully. I was told a story in one of my Sunday School Sessions. Some burglars always disturb a young man in his house. They come each night to steal things from his house. Jesus Christ visited this young man and offered him protection if he let's him in. The young man accepted and gave Jesus Christ his Sitting room. When the burglars came in they raided the whole house except the sitting room. The man asked Jesus 'why?', Jesus replied you only gave me the sitting room. The young man then said you can have the whole house then. When the burglars wanted coming in that night, they couldn't. This is how Jesus Christ is telling us to let him into the world.
